In other news, my couch arrived today!! At the exact moment that I sat my tush in my chair at work, my phone rang to tell me they were on the way to my place...super. :)

Random bits.

Soo....lots of random things going on here. I went to Target with my cousin last weekend and found some really great jeans...seriously! I think I'm converting to Target for skinny jeans. I believe these are them...but to me they seem a shade darker, so I'll continue searching. How can you beat that price!?

I also scored some William Rast jeggings in black. As in, William Rast has a line for Target! Pretty pumped about that.

In other news, I'm completely ecstatic about cleaning out this weekend and getting ready for my new sofa. We're in the process of getting rid of some excess and re-arranging other things. I thought it would be a good time to pick up the rug under the dining room table and vacuum..how often do you get to do that anyway? You'll never believe what we found underneath...nearly a year's supply of hair ties, bobby pins, and q tips that Calvin (cat) had taken from Alicia's room and stuffed under the rug day by day....

How funny is that!? There was much more, I can assure you.

To add further to this non-cohesive (is that even a word?) post, I love this song. Not your average 12 year old...

Today.

Is couch day! Want to know the one I decided on? Inspired by this first image, and from the three listed here, I'm getting the Petrie!!!

The only thing left to decide is the 76" or the 86"...stay tuned.

Plus, I'm definitely going to post before/after pics!!

So...then we'll have to discuss PILLOWS! Ahhh this is fun...

Ring in the New.

So yesterday the lovely Mary at Room Polish showed us this room. I love it. It speaks to me. It is so me.

So..I thought..ok Ann, let's start pairing down and cleaning out. It's almost the new year, so it's time to do those sorts of things. What really bothers me though.......................is my couch. It's big. And red. And I don't even like red. At. All. (sorry for the excessive punctuation but this is how I feel!!)

So now, I'm thinking..time to make a change. Has anyone had success selling furniture on craigslist? Then I'm thinking of purchasing one of these beauts.
