Lee McQueen, founder and designer of the Alexander McQueen brand has died.
In honor of the brand, I post my favorite shoes.
I know I've posted about these before...
Google Analytics Part II
I was reading Abe's post this morning about all the countries she has visiting her site... in the last month, among 2,000 visits, I had 32 countries looking at my blog!!! Canada and the US are at the top followed by the UK and Mexico. I expanded it to be a 2 month window and 59 countries, 3,500 visits, have viewed!!! Some countries I didn't even know existed, nor how to pronounce them... Some countries on my list of places to see...Some countries I can't even figure out HOW ON EARTH they got over to my little daily dose.
Today so far, the US and the Netherlands have viewed my blog. Hello Netherlands!
You can even narrow down to cities that view your blog. I can see Ft. Collins is a regular visitor, which is probably Abe :)
Winter Wonderland in Dallas
It's snowing here!! Come on, I know it's not that serious, but it's serious for Dallas! Hopefully the weather improves so I can definitely make my morning commute to work tomorrow...wouldn't want to miss the chance to work...(wink)

How Tuesday: How to stay warm and look cute doing it!
I was getting dressed this morning and was thinking about this. Temperatures are dropping, you're adding more and more layers to your look, trudging through the snow (ok I'M not, but you may be) and then getting to work flustered. At least you can look cute doing it, right?
1. Invest in a great pair of boots (or two, or three...). This year I bought an edgy take on riding boots. They are grey-ish black and have a blue exposed zipper in the back. Makes me toasty and trendy.
2. Cashmere socks. I'm telling you---when I was in Italy over a year ago my feet were freezing. We stopped in a shop and bought $10 cashmere socks and they were literally one of the best investments of my life. They're also black with green argyle on it--cute!
3. Tights. This winter, colored tights were a huge trend. I got these at Anthropologie.
4. Cowls. Obviously cowls are totally cute and totally toasty, and my lovely friend Maggie makes the perfect one! I have charcoal grey. Visit her etsy shop!
5. This year, and anyone at work can attest to this, I am obsessed with my puffer vest. NO it is not a kid's vest. I bought it at Express (surprisingly) and it has a faux fur lining on the hood. I love it and it really keeps me warm.
And a couple of cute winter looks for some ideas:

Lunes. Lunedi. Monday.
Does anyone feel like they go a little nuts on Mondays? I do. Sometimes on Saturdays too, which is when Julie shot this of me.
Over the weekend we went to High Fashion Fabric where I scored some fantastically delicious trims and feathers. This week I'm going to work my booty off to photograph and upload every headband I have made thus far (~30+) and upload them to my site.
Have a great day, make it a great day.
