I heart Garance.

Garance Dore, love of Scott Schuman, and photo blogger extraordinaire, is simply adorable. She often does these cute drawings of her blog stories followed by a real life photo. She did the most adorable post about her cape:

The story is here. My favorite was the deep discussion on how one should carry a purse when there are no sleeves to the jacket..

Scott took this adorable picture of Garance (2nd from left) (notice her hot outfit) (notice purse being held in hand) with Anna dello Russo and company.

I was inclined to blog about her now because yesterday she posted the most gorgeous video of her view of the Chanel show. I would have given my right arm to be there (and I'm right handed). So many lovelies were there...Rachel Bilson (girl crush on her!), Kiera Knightly, Alexa Chung..and Karl's muse for the show, Inès de la Fressange. A little research on Inè the 80s she became the first model to sign an exclusive modelling contract with an haute couture fashion house, Chanel, and became Mr. Lagerfeld's muse.

Scott and I must be best friends.

At least I think so. How else can you explain he and I both blogging about bicycles on the same day? I guess he started it since they are HIS bicycle pictures, but nonetheless, I think this qualifies as being best friends.

he is one lucky guy!

Fall Looks I'm Loving Part II

So I got an email blast from Anthro about their new looks. I am a sucker for:

1) Anthropologie
2) Good styling
3) bicycles (though I don't own one)
The Sartorialist has an entire section on his blog devoted to bicycles-did you know that? Clever, Scott.
love this one for her legs (as previously posted about here)
cute French girl looking super cute.
zaney and whimsical.
Love the yellow bike!

I feel like I've done a few posts on bikes (here, here, here, and one more here). But that's ok-it's my blog and I'll blog about it if I want to! ;)

Looks like a Dream

Jose Villa has this inexplicable way of pulling you into this magical fairy world with his photographs. This photo shoot for Southern Weddings is no different. I love the use of bold, bright, rainbow colors in every element of the photograph---the dress, bracelets, balloon, wicker basket, bow tie, pocket name a few. I am irreversibly obsessed with this dress and would like to have it. Thank you.

You must check out the rest of the shots on his blog.

Fall Looks I'm Loving-Yesterday's for Less

Here is my look from yesterday, but on a budget (and how I wore it myself!) I couldn't find the exact tee I was from Whole Foods found in a pile of long sleeve organic v neck tees for $14 a piece!!! But this top from Target gives you a general idea...

Look for less..

Total Cost of look: $51.79
Cost of Yesterday's Look: $459
Today's is roughly 10% of the cost!
