I bought these over food.

Day 55...As you can see by the title, when I first saw these shoes, I dropped my jaw. My sister said "If you'd rather forgo groceries and buy these, then you have to have them."
Virginia actually bought them in a black/beige combo (aren't you glad I did not, seeing as how many pairs I have that fit that description??) They are BCBG from DSW, probably one of the first DSW purchases at that. I was a freshman at college and I bought these as my Easter shoes! The white leather at the toe part has tiny holes in it and is solid at the heel part. Accents are pink, including a pink flower. I know this isn't important, but the inside is yellow! I had to add a gel insert to these because they have stretched out over the years.
I was obviously infatuated with these at the beginning, but have not worn them much lately. Is it time to say goodbye to my Easter shoes? You decide. Calvin the cat snuck in the picture today! Ha!

Also, I am down to my last 2 pairs of work shoes!!! Friday is the final day of posting work shoes. I will continue to post weekend shoes and will potentially do a stand-off between a few pairs so that I can make sure to pair down my collection, as was intended from the start.

Heels are a girl's best friend.

Day 18...TGIF!!! What's as classic as Audrey Hepburn in Breakfast at Tiffany's? Black pumps.

Black pumps. They're essential to every woman's closet. I bought these at...surprisingly...DSW!!! I was on the hunt for black pumps since my favorites had been worn through. They are by Guess and are the epitome of classic pointy heels. One way to make a woman feel classy and sassy is to don her black pumps. When in doubt? Go for black.

Wild Thang

Day 15...not gonna lie, I was late to work today. In an effort to continue avoiding beige, I chose something a little wild...

I bought these at Marshall's when I bought the Liz Claiborne's. The brand is Tahari, patent animal print, 3 inch heel. But do they make my heart sing? It is difficult to sing anything when you're this tired. I promise to be more cheery tomorrow :) Worn with brown pinstripe pants and brown accents.
"We do LOVE animal print, but the key is to incorporate only one piece (a jacket, coat, skirt, shoe, dress, bag) at a time." -Suze Yalof Schwartz, Glamour editor

Beige...Basic or Boring?

Day 9...I am feeling a bit sluggish this morning. Today the post is dedicated to my sister's best friend, and my other big sis LE. It is her birthday and in honor of her, I will wear these shoes....I have to admit, she wanted me to don a slightly unattractive pair...she had doubts they exist in my closet! But, I do not want to inflict my opinion on unsuspecting readers....here we go...

I bought these at Marshall's right before starting my "big girl" job. Brand: Liz Claiborne...'nuff said.

Snakeskin.

Day 8...and it is Monday already!
I have included two pictures now, one of just the shoes on my feet and one with the outfit.
Black wide leg trousers, grey & white striped ruffle blouse, black/grey vest.
I bought these shoes at Nine West on a shopping trip with my mom. They go with black, grey, brown, really any color. Pointed toe, roughly 3" heel.

stu's should stay. i'm just sayin'

Day 4....I decided to wear a skirt today. Nothing makes you feel more feminine than a skirt and heels. This project has been difficult though...to quote a contestant of Project Runway, "I don't think I knew it would take so much tediousness".
Anyways, carry on...

Here are Day 3's shoes:

Sans tights:

I bought them at Nordy's half yearly sale with my mom. She bought the same in candy apple red but I was in need of brown shoes! I'm sad to not be able to wear them again until the end of the challenge because I love them...Who doesn't love Stuart Weitzman?!
