A Girl in Gold Shoes

Day 52...Happy Friday! It's the freakin' weekend.

These are Steve Madden and I believe I bought them a few Easter's ago when the airline had lost my luggage. I know several people who own these in some color or leather variation, but mine are gold. They are not the most comfortable, but I can't seem to give them up, as they go so well with many outfits.

Easter Parade

Day 42...Happy Easter! I wore these wedges today with my Easter dress. My sister and I don't go for bows, bonnets, or frills on Easter, just something simple and new to celebrate the occasion.

I bought these wedges at Lilly last Spring. Wedges are so comfortable and I think these have just the right amount of bling on them too. Worn with long jersey dress from Target and an orange/yellow shawl sweater from Anthropologie. My nephew in church today said "that is a tiny jacket you have on!" Boys are hilarious!

Solid Gold, Baby.

Day 37...SHAZAM!! It's the krunkest day of the week! It's Gold, Go,Go It's Gold, Choo, Choo. It's Gold, It's Gold, It's Gold, It's Gold It's Solid Gold baby!
My mom bought these in Positano, Italy for me. I haven't worn them much, but they are SO comfortable and full of spunk. I'm taking a road trip this evening so I chose comfort for today. Gold works whether you're headed to the disco or to the office.

Feminine Bows...

Day 33...Funday Monday...welcome to the beginning of your work week or whatever it is you do to fill your time.
I have to say this is the first (and possibly only) pair of shoes that I did not buy or have bought for me. Rather, I acquired them from someone who wore them once for an event and decided they were not going to fit in her closet. So, here they are! In the middle of my challenge! They are BCBG gold/bronze leather with chocolate grosgrain ribbon threaded throughout and a bow at top. I have realized that I have quite a few pairs of shoes with bows on them...who knew!

Weekend Comfort

Day 25...This weekend I went to a backyard wedding shower and a bar birthday party in one night. I chose to stick with comfort and don these goldies.

I feel like I took a myspace profile picture of myself, but I didn't have anyone to take the picture!! I bought these beauts at Steve Madden in an attempt to sport the trend of moccasins without looking like Pocahontas. I wear them constantly especially because of the sherpa-ish lining inside. Worn here with white Levis skinnies, Grey long tank from Fossil, and a Gap cardi.

Golden Girls.

Day 14...Daylight savings REALLY doesn't help make your Monday less painful. Solution? Don bow ballet flats. They're as classic as Golden Girls in Miami Florida.

Franco Sarto gold flats from Nordy's purchased with my sister and dad in Palm Beach. While we did not visit Bea, Betty, Estelle, and Rue in Miami from Golden Girls, we did go shoe shopping. These were purchased with two other pair, one being the peep toe cream wedges with the chocolate brown grosgrain detailing worn last week.
