JCrew Fall 2011 Lookbook favs

These are my favs of the JCrew Fall 2011 lookbook. But I do want to know..what's in store for the dead of summer? Please all linen, please. It gets so blasted hot here in Texas. Regardless of the fact that I'm wearing boots today because of a little cold snap, as soon as I'm able to wear wedges & sandals consistently every day, I'll start to dream of the boot and tights weather again. Whatever these striped babies are, I gotta have 'em.

Now back to reality...who am I kidding though? I scheduled this post ahead of time, so by now I'm lying on the beach in sunny Florida with these ladies!!!

Weekend of Epic Proportions.

See that hottie in the middle? Liza? Well she's getting married to one lucky man. We're all meeting in Florida this weekend to celebrate...and party like we're still in college. Maybe we'll bust out some awesome dance moves...



But for sure we'll have an awesome time. I cannot wait to fly through this day and get to FL!

Braids.

Is anyone else as obsessed with braids as I am? I would have done my hair in braids today, had I had time this morning. And as a side note, I'm completely obsessed with the new Britney song.

So.

This cat: Is getting fat. (roommate's). Real life situation: Alicia: "Is there a chance that the cat could've gotten out this morning? Bc I'm almost positive he's not here" <> Alicia: "Never mind, he was in the dryer?!" I don't make this stuff up.

Wish List.

I have a bit of a wish list going, once I saw that JCrew had new arrivals.. I can't help it really. It all looks so appealing...is it because I can't shop? Is it because the sun is shining and the temperatures are rising? Could be a little of both.

Regardless, here is what I would put in my imaginary cart, if the sky was the limit. Sigh.

1. Stripe sunburst tank-love the wonkiness of those stripes! And of course any stripes in general.
2. What a cute laid back cardi, Sabrina!

3. Crochet is not just for grandmas. This is totes hot.

4. Remember how I said I wanted to get in on the motorcycle trend? Hel-lo what better way to do it than with an exposed zipper!!!!

5. I do love a good gingham.

6. I'm intrigued by these shorts...too poofy? Or just plain cute!

7. And the lace/eyelet trend. Don't even get me started on these babies.

8. Now this is a sour lemon I could sink my teeth into.

9. You know I'm going to say it. Don't you totes love this tote!?

10. And I love all things bracelets and jewelry right now. This is the frosting on the cake.

While we're at it, world peace and an end to these insane natural disasters wouldn't be bad items to add to the wish list as well.

I came across this recently ( I don't remember where ) but once I saw it, Julie and I began obsessing over it. I have been on the hunt for the basic tote. canvas or linen bag, leather handles. These straps are adjustable, and at such a low price!

Since I gave up shopping for lent (kill me), I haven't ordered one yet. Julie got hers in the mail recently and it couldn't be any freakin' cuter!!

Can't wait to order one! Maybe the mint green??
