A Tartan Tale

You know I'm obsessed with tartan. Katie showed me Mac's ad campaign...alllllll tartannnnnnnnn! Omg..

What I love: the mixed colors in the pattern, her bold cheeks and lips, her lightly penciled eyebrows, and her out-of-control hair.

Also, over the weekend I went to the outlets to Christmas shop. Went to the JCrew outlet, and bought a men's xs flannel tartan plaid shirt. I'm absolutely in love with it..it's long enough to wear as more of a tunic with a belt. Plus it was a steal! Maybe I'll shop in the men's section now...

Update on Studs.

After searching for a while...this is all I've found so far as a substitute for the budget buster studded Valentino's...

Sugar Addiction, Anyone?

First off, was I the last to find out that Gwyneth Paltrow has a totally cool (and informative) blog? Corinne showed me last week.

She sends out a weekly newsletter. This week's was about sugar addiction...proving that our post-Halloween binging could be forming an addiction similar to cocaine, alcohol and nicotine. OK what!? Look I know I need to stop with the Reeses but I didn't think it was that serious..

Good news: scroll down in the article and you'll read tips on overcoming sugar addiction. I'm going to read it backwards and forwards now and cut this craving pronto.

Such a Stud.

Yesterday's Who What Wear surprised me. Here the (fashion) world was, telling us that pointy is out, and here they bring them back in? Also apparently wide leg was out, but it's back too...good because I didn't stop wearing them.

Side note: I think Elle Macpherson is gorgeous and has great hair...

My favorite of the pointy heels (which they appear to be low heels-I'm definitely OK with that), are the studded Valentino's on Alexa Chung's feet. I had to do some digging, but Scott has already posted about these studs being the shoe of the season.

Now where to find a more budget friendly version....stay tuned.
