A Need for Tweed.

Day 12...Happy Friday! Taking it back to our Scottish roots, the Harris Tweed trend remains a classic to every wardrobe. And now for today's shoes:

The original name for the clothe was tweel, Scottish for twill. Production dating back to 1830 with the classic blazers and trousers, and moving into the new millenium with Nike's limited edition retro trainers, twill is likely to be present in every closet. A vest, a jacket, a pair of trousers, or those retro trainers!

Today's shoes go well with tweed. Naturally from DSW, I bought them right before starting work. Two inch heel, light tan leather, chocolate brown stitching and grosgrain bow. Worn with JCrew tweed ruffle kick skirt and JCrew blouse.

"Too short? Wear big high heels, but do practice walking!"-Victoria Bekham

And I've discovered that I have a lot of nude colored shoes and most have been worn this week...I'll make sure to spice it up next week :)

  1. This is so funny! I have officially decided that you have way to much time on your hands and that you need to come see me to take up time!

  2. So, these also look similar to the "Foxy flats" you posted, but again, these are much cuter and with way more attitude. I dig 'em!
