Hello there

Jenna Lyons. How are you enjoying fashion week?

If you don't know who Jenna is, read here, here, see her home here, stalk the Fall 2010 collection here, and how the mega craze began here.

In love with her yet? Ya I thought so.

**also, did anyone notice how she rocked the denim on denim? This is something that, when called upon to don it, I run for the hills. What did she do? Don her stilletos and strut on out. Sigh.

Gossip Girl here..

Oh come on. Admit it-this is one of your guilty pleasures. I find myself getting lost in the fashion, the drama, and the unrealistic lives of these fabulous characters. Last night was the season premiere (shhh! I didn't get a chance to watch it!) and I'm anxious to see what all Gossip Girl has in store for this season.

Also, stay tuned in my shop for bow headbands with Blaire Waldorf as the muse!

Slow to Start

Monday already? I had such a full weekend I am shocked that Monday is already here. My sister and I participated in our first craft bazaar/flea market which took up all of Saturday. Celebrated my birthday that night with great friends (I have the best friends!!!) and laid low yesterday.

Any new music to suggest? I just downloaded the Sara Bareilles' new album this morning. Liking it so far..

Tomorrow I hope to share with you pictures and stories about the bazaar! :)

Weekend fabulousness

Is that a word? Who cares, it is now :)

Julie and I are obsessed with this recent post. I hope everyone has a fabulous weekend...Virginia and I will be selling our crafties at a local bazaar today and we couldn't be more excited!!! What doesn't sell at the bazaar will be uploaded to my etsy shop (which is LONG overdue to be updated) in the coming weeks!!! Stay tuned on that.

Happy weekend!

Take me to the forest

The French forest that is. This lovely couple (seen on Once Wed) was married in her grandparents forest-doesn't that sound like a dream? See the images here...and below are my favorites.

Ahhh to lay back in the grass with your lover.

The theme of the wedding was dots and stripes, and some guests followed suits. Love the gentleman's horizontal stripe top-looks very Parisian.

The details are magnificent!!

Here is Eleanore's fashion blog as well. I'm still pouring through it and am developing a girl crush :) The tagline says "Eleanore Bridge- Who the hell are you?" haa!

Choo Choo

Jimmy Choo...don't mind if I do!
I poured through the recent Paper City and was really in love with this ad...she looks fierce and feminine at the same time.
Hopped on over to the website and there she is again-soft elegance with her lacy chemise on and edgy with her animal print bag.
Perhaps I should take a chance on Choo...anyone care to donate to the cause?

It's the collegiate way.

Fashion week is upon us. What is my single most favorite article of clothing? The cardigan. What is the style this Fall (carrying on from Spring)? The collegiate cardigan. While I probably won't go so far as to stitch a letter and cheer "gimme a B!", I'll take my cues from NYFashion any day.

Love this paired with soft, feminine ruffles.

You know I'm obsessed with this look...from her locks to her specks to the skinny cheetah belt wrapped around her waist. Love this Madewell cardi.

Hello Mr. Cutie-pants (and by pants I mean butt).

Simple. Masculine. Structured.
The cardigan is uber prominent in my closet...from grey to stripes, from prints to bold colors, from short sleeve to long, from Cotton to wool...I've got them all. I still manage to pick up a few new ones a season (they're my weakness!).
