Confession.
Yesterday my sis Virginia and I were driving to a baby/wedding shower (***two separate women! ha!) and we were talking about how we want to start running. We both want a runner's body. Lean, cut, but not huge muscles. Soooooooo then we start flexing our arms and comparing the left to the right, and we look to our right. These two nerdy guys in the car next to us are CRACKING UP LAUGHING watching us!!!! OOoooooh what a sister moment. 
I think that was the funniest part of my weekend hands down...already Monday??

Independence Day
Independence Day commemorates the adoption of the Declaration of Independence on July 4, 1776, declaring our nations independence from the kingdom of Great Britain. We took a look at the Declaration of Independence in the newspaper that day, and were reminded of a time in our childhoods where we were required to memorize it.
"We hold these truths to be self evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, and among these are life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness."
What strikes me most about this sentence is that our Country fought to have the right to pursue happiness. Isn't that amazing? In honor of that topic, I celebrated with my college roommate, Clare, and her family for the weekend in Minnesota. You wouldn't expect it, but the weather was perfect and I came back with a tan (and a neck ache from tubing!)

Hen

This is Henry. He says good morning, and welcome back to work (to those of us who had yesterday off). He wanted to let you know that normal blogging will resume shortly. His aunt (writer of daily ann-tidote) is currently under a pile of phone calls and invoices, but will dig from the pile shortly. Some call him Henry Penry, or Hen Pen. He has bright red hair and puffy cheeks perfect for squeezing.
